Expanding the Network of Saksham Skill Centers
We propose the establishment of the Saksham Skill Development, a multifaceted initiative aimed at uplifting women through a diverse range of skill-building activities. This comprehensive center will offer courses in stitching, mehndi art, beautician training, computer skills, thematic sessions, livelihood creation, and career counseling. By providing an all-encompassing approach to empowerment, we aspire to enable women to achieve financial independence, self-reliance, and personal growth.
Objectives:
- Holistic Skill Enhancement: Provide an array of courses spanning stitching, mehndi art, beautician training, computer skills, and more, to empower women with versatile skill sets.
- Economic Empowerment: Equip women with marketable skills to secure employment, start businesses, and achieve financial stability.
- Personal Development: Offer thematic sessions to enhance personal growth, self-confidence, and decision-making abilities.
- Livelihood Creation: Provide support for women to establish sustainable livelihoods by applying their acquired skills.
- Career Counseling: Offer guidance to help women make informed decisions about career paths and opportunities.
Program Details: The Saksham Skill Centre curriculum encompasses:
- Stitching Course: Comprehensive training in stitching techniques, garment creation, and design, empowering women to create clothing and generate income.
- Mehndi Course: Instruction in traditional and modern mehndi designs, fostering creativity and entrepreneurial prospects.
- Beautician Course: Training in beauty treatments, makeup application, and salon management, opening doors to careers in the beauty industry.
- Computer Course: Basic computer literacy training, enhancing employability in sectors requiring digital skills.
- Thematic Sessions: Personal development workshops fostering confidence, communication skills, and decision-making abilities.
- Livelihood Creation: Guidance and resources to help women transform their skills into sustainable livelihoods.
- Career Counseling: Individualized counseling to guide women towards suitable career paths and job opportunities.
