Divyanshi’s Story (A Little Girl with a Big Dream)

In the narrow bylanes of Lucknow lived a young girl named Divyanshi, whose eyes dreamed of classrooms, blackboards, and books. But dreams are often fragile in homes where even two square meals are uncertain.

Born into a family struggling to make ends meet, Divyanshi’s desire to study often clashed with the harsh truth of survival. Her innocent questions like “Mumma, kya main school ja sakti hoon?” were met with silent tears and helpless eyes.

But destiny had something else planned.

The Let’s Give Hope Foundation came across this brave little heart — full of dreams but bound by limitations. And we made her a promise:

“You will study. You will grow. And we will walk with you.”

In 2024, we enrolled her in Bright Future Academy in Class 6 — not just paying her school fees, but also providing her with everything she needed to feel like any other child in that classroom:

❤️ Most importantly, the confidence that someone believes in her.

We didn’t stop there. To ensure she doesn’t fall behind and grows holistically, we arranged for her to attend free tuitions at our Saksham Skill Centre — a place where she learns, laughs, and slowly blooms into a confident young girl.

And today, as a new academic year begins, we are proud to say that we are supporting her once again — because her journey is far from over. And because her dream is now ours too.

Divyanshi’s Story (A Little Girl with a Big Dream)

My name is Hemlata. I live in Vidhwan Khand, Gali No. 2, Chhota Bharwara, Gomti Nagar. I completed my post-graduation in Sociology from Shree Durga Shiksha Niketan Mahavidyalaya in 2023.

I had only heard about computers before; I had never studied or used one. I wanted to learn computers, but due to my lack of knowledge and not knowing English, I felt hesitant. Then, I learned from my college that Saksham Skill Center offers training in computers, sewing, and mehndi. I immediately visited the center and enrolled in a six-month basic computer course.

At first, I was very scared to learn computers, but all the teachers at Saksham Skill Center, especially Akhil Sir, motivated me and boosted my confidence. During these six months, I learned Computer Fundamentals, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint - from basic to advanced), email usage, and many other important topics. Currently, I am learning English typing and applying for jobs in private companies.

I am also grateful to Ashish Maurya Sir, the founder of Saksham Skill Center, who established such a wonderful institution in our area, where sewing, mehndi, and computer skills are taught at a very minimal fee. Just as I have gained excellent training here, I encourage all of you to join this center and enhance your skills.

Hemlata's Success Story

My name is Pradeep Kumar. I live near Daily Bazaar, Viraj Khand - 2, Bada Bharwara, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. I completed my 12th grade in 2023 from Rajkiya Inter College, Raja Fatehpur, Amethi.

Due to financial difficulties at home, I moved to Lucknow and applied for jobs at various places. However, everywhere I went, I was asked if I had completed a computer course. When I said 'no,' they told me that getting a job without computer skills would be difficult.

Because of this, I was feeling quite frustrated at home. One day, some brothers and sisters visited my house and informed me that they were doing an internship at Let's Give Hope Foundation. They also told me that Let's Give Hope Foundation had established Saksham Skill Center in my area, where computer, sewing, and mehndi courses were taught for just Rs. 100 per month.

I asked them about the computer course and the center and gathered all the necessary information. The very next day, I visited the center and met Akhil Sir to learn more about the computer course. In June 2024, I enrolled in the course.

My Journey in the Course: When I joined the computer course, I did not even know how to turn on a computer. However, within a month, I became familiar with it. By the end of six months, under the guidance of Akhil Sir, I learned several important computer skills, such as: ✔ Turning the computer on and off
✔ Creating files and folders
✔ Typing in Hindi and English
✔ Using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

After completing the course, I started learning English typing.

Journey to Getting a Job: In February 2025, Akhil Sir informed me about a job vacancy at McDonald's and helped me prepare for the interview. During my computer basics course, I had created my own CV, which I took with me for the interview. I am happy to share that I got selected, and my joining will be after Holi.

My job starts at 6 PM, so I will continue learning English typing at the center in the afternoon and work at McDonald's in the evening.

Gratitude & Message: I sincerely thank Akhil Gupta Sir, because of whom I was able to learn computers and secure a good job. I also express my gratitude to Ashish Sir, the founder of Let's Give Hope Foundation, and his entire team for establishing such an excellent skill center and providing skills at a very affordable fee.

Nisha's Empowerment through Saksham Skill Center

In a heartwarming initiative, Let's Give Hope Foundation orchestrated a campaign that distributed free eyeglasses to children in need. This endeavor aimed to empower young lives with clear vision, addressing the challenges faced by underprivileged children who lacked access to proper eyewear. Through partnerships with optometrists, volunteers, and donors, the foundation's campaign reached schools, communities, and rural areas, leaving a trail of transformed lives.

Among the beneficiaries was Sunny, a 12-year-old , a student of government primary school Narahi, whose blurry vision hindered his potential. Identified during the campaign, Sunny received his first pair of glasses from Let's Give Hope Foundation. He said "I used to squint and struggle to read, but these glasses opened a door to knowledge , thank you lets give hope foundation for helping me see the world clearly" With newfound clarity, Sunny academic performance soared as he actively engaged in class and pursued his dreams. His story became a testament to the impact of compassion and collective action, igniting hope in the hearts of many.

Let's Give Hope Foundation's Free Glasses Campaign

The Jakson group along with Let's give hope foundation coordinated a much needed program about “self defense”. A self defense workshop was held as a part of our saksham program at various places in UP like Lucknow and Sitapur with the aim of empowering the girls of our nation,instilling a sense of bravery in them, and boosting their mental fortitude.

Due to the rise in female violence, girls in India encounter numerous difficulties in their daily lives. Reports have shown several forms of violence against women including domestic, sexual, and gender-based violence.Learning self defense is a key remedy for this. Empowering these girls to feel more confident in their bodies, communication,relationships and opinions will be advantageous to them and will hopefully reduce violence against them.

To make a difference in this society , The Jakson group organized a self-defense course in conjunction with the Let's Give Hope organization. Around 3000 girls participated in this training program and have reported a boost in their confidence.Professional instructors explained the intricacies of blocking, punching, and kicking methods while mentioning real-world scenarios.These techniques help in defense during the times of crisis and give a sense of safety. Many girls want to learn self defense but they are unable to do so. This was overcomed by this workshop.As a result, the female students were inspired and encouraged to fight against the brutality! It not only makes them aware of their surroundings it also helps them make decisions and understand personal boundaries. This training has impacted society as a whole - it helped change people’s thoughts ,mindset and make them more aware.It empowers individuals and helps in reducing victims. It challenges societal norms related to gender.Moreover it results in increased safety and bonding of a community.

Many prominent authorities attended this event. The event was successful with the help of Jakson group as their team has always been keen to work on women's empowerment as a part of their corporate social responsibility.

Free eye check-up Camp, Govt Primary Schools, Khargapur and Gaderianpurwa Lucknow

On 19 December, Let's Give Hope Foundation , in collaboration with SBI General Insurance , successfully conducted its free eye check-up camp at Govt Primary Schools, Khargapur and Gaderianpurwa. We were honored to host this camp, which benefited over 300+ children. As part of the program, 13 children diagnosed with vision problems were provided with free glasses to help improve their eyesight. During our visit, we engaged with the parents, motivate them and encouraging them to send their children to school regularly and stressing the importance of health and hygiene. We also shared practical tips on how they can ensure their children are clean and well-prepared for school each day. Again we collected data from the families, which will help us track the children's progress over time and evaluate the impact of our initiatives. The visit was a rewarding experience, as it allowed us to gain valuable insights into the challenges these families face.

The VLCC School Of Beauty Alambag team, led by the VLCC head, Namra, along with her team members, recently visited our centre. During their visit, they shared valuable grooming tips with our girls, guiding them step-by-step on how to enhance their appearance and groom themselves effectively. Free eye Check-up Camp

On November 21st, Let's Give Hope Foundation , in collaboration with SBI General Insurance , successfully conducted its first-ever free eye check-up camp, benefiting 300 children. This initiative aimed to provide essential eye care to children, ensuring their vision is well-maintained and that they receive the necessary attention for any eye health issues. We were honored to have SDM Ankit Shukla from Lucknow visit the camp. His presence added grace to the event, and he took the time to learn about and appreciate the camp's efforts. He also praised the work of Let's Give Hope Foundation for its valuable contribution to the community. We are grateful for his kind words and support. As part of this camp, 36 children who were found to have vision problems were provided with free glasses to help improve their eyesight. This initiative was particularly important as it gave children, many from underserved backgrounds, access to eye care that they might not have otherwise received. We are proud to share the successful organization of a free health check-up camp which includes eye checkup, gynae consultation, general physcian; in collaboration with MMC Hospital and Sewa niketan ashram at the Barabanki Reserve Police Line yesterday. At the SDSN degree college and Saksham Skill Centre; Let's Give Hope Foundation, in association with KGMU Hospital, successfully hosted a free dental health camp. Let's Give Hope Foundation has initiated a youth development program called "Netritv," dedicated to nurturing and empowering the youth. As part of this initiative, we recently organized a workshop where students from UPES Dehradun actively participated. Upon successfully completing their internship, the students were awarded certificates during the workshop. During the event, the interns shared their feedback and experiences, reflecting on their journey with Let's Give Hope Foundation. They spoke about the new skills they acquired, the personal growth they experienced, and how their time with the foundation has positively impacted their lives. In addition to these reflections, a variety of games and activities were organized for the interns, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Bringing smiles on the faces of underprivileged children; School kits were distributed to 50 children : On August 4, the saksham skill centre held a wonderful event. During this event, ACT Fibernet kindly donated school kits to the children at the center. ACT Fibernet provided 50 school kits, which included backpacks, notebooks, lunch boxes, pencil kits, water bottles, and other essential items. This generous donation has given the children the support they need to continue their studies with excitement and joy. The children were very happy to receive these gifts, which will help them in their education. The school kits will be very useful for their learning and will motivate them to study harder. Besides giving school kits, ACT Fibernet also organized a tree plantation drive at the Saksham Skill Centre. This shows their commitment to keeping the environment green and clean. Planting trees not only makes the surroundings beautiful but also helps the environment. We, from Saksham Skill Centre, sincerely thank Mr. B.M. On the occasion of Oral Hygiene Day, The Department of Public Health Dentistry at KGMU, in collaboration with the Let's Give Hope Foundation, organized a series of dental education activities at the Primary Government School in Narahi. The children were engaged in interactive sessions where they learned the correct techniques for brushing their teeth, the optimal duration for brushing, and the best times to brush. The program aimed to educate them about the importance of oral health, ensuring they understand how proper oral hygiene can contribute to better dental health in the future. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to KGMU and the Department of Public Health Dentistry for their valuable time and efforts in educating these young minds. Fight Against Hunger

On July 31, 2024; students from the 9th grade at Jaipuria School, Lucknow, visited the Saksham Skill Center. During their visit, they distributed food, fruits, and sweets to underprivileged children, bringing joy and smiles to their faces. Afterward, Ashish Maurya, the founder of Let's Give Hope Foundation, held an inspiring meeting with the students. He discussed how the new generation can contribute to society by serving those in need. He explained the process of starting an NGO and initiating various social service projects. The session was enlightening and motivational, providing the students with valuable knowledge and inspiring them to help the underprivileged and serve the community. At last, We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Jaipuria School for this thoughtful initiative. The interns were divided into 15 dynamic teams - the 2 LT Team, comprising 12 members each, with dedicated leaders assigned to a government primary school. Lucknow, October 17. In collaboration with Let's Give Hope Foundation, Jakson Group organized a self-defense training program for over 700 female students of Subhash Chandra Bose Government Girls Postgraduate College at LDA Stadium, Aliganj. This program aims to boost the self-confidence of young women and equip them with self-defense techniques to tackle serious issues like harassment and violence. Experts demonstrated techniques such as blocking, punching, and kicking to help young women defend themselves during difficult times or unexpected attacks. This empowering program will make the students more resilient. Case of modern kids, spend a lot of time on mobile phones, computers, and TV screens. So there are so many chances of harm to their eyes. So, keeping all these things in mind, Let's Give Hope Foundation organized an Eye Check-up Camp under our "SWASTH BANEGA U.P." campaign for the students of Lucknow Public School, Rajajipuram, A-Block. With the kind support of Vision & Life Care and Hariom Optical. Our team checked up Approx. 250 Students and we found 30 Students unaware of their eye problem. The team of professionals guided them for further treatment and gave an important lesson on how to keep their Eyes Perfect.
